Gold day

Truly the most tremendous thing. I met a heretic today, and he was simply the best heretic. He swore by the god of winds, one of the old gods, and would not be swayed one jot. He came to the boarding house for his soup, and swore by this god’s name. I, of course, chided him, in my best accent of my current primary language, and he retorted most defensively.

I made many of the normal points of this order, among them that the priests of the Father would not appreciate his jibber-jabber, and he retorted with rudeness such as I have made a note of, for it was quite spectacular. I believe, though I must doublecheck the word, that I was called an anteater.

Quite a wonderful day. A good argument is so refreshing, and the weather was clear and calm for a change. The children took no danger of chills or coughs as they went about their ramblings.
